Cracked Glass

I have been wanting to try this technique and I have finally got around to making a card. I have to say I am quite impressed with how the image looks. You will find a video tutorial on StampTv which is very informative and gives you some great tips.(you will find a link to StampTv on my Places of Interest).
I used your normal clear embossing powder so I had to do more layers.
I used Vanilla, Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip cardstock.
Stamp: Friends 24-7
Inks: Bashful Blue and Chocolate Chip
Acc: Gingham ribbon, 3D foams, embossing

Loads of Love

We just had some friends visiting from interstate so wanted to use my Loads of love stamp set because they always make their journey by car and that was very fitting.

On the top of the baja breeze paper I stamped the hearts with the stamp from Hello Again and then cut them out and stuck strip of ribbon to cover the hearts. I got this idea from the summer mini catalogue.
For the truck I used the paper piecing technique. I stamped the image on whisper white and dsp paper, then cut the body of the car from the dsp and stick it on the white image.

Recipe for this card
Paper: Chocolate Chip, whisper white, Baja Breeze and dsp Holiday Treasures
Inks: Old olive, pink passion, pink pirouette, ruby red and red riding hood, baja breeze and chocolate chip.
Markers:basic gray, going gray for the wheels
Stamp: Hello Again and Loads of Love
Acc: Daubers, blender pens and 3D foams
Let me know what you think.

Inkspiration Challenge #15

Here is my Inkspiration challenge.
When I saw the black cushions it reminded me the city lights and the first stamp set I thought that would go with this challenge was from the Pocket Silouettes set. I kept it very simple, I used white ink and embossed with clear embossing powder, unfortunately I did not have glitter embossing powder which I think would made the card stand out a bit more.
